There are some places in the Finger Lakes that just feel good the second you pull in, and Airy Acres Vineyard is definitely one of them. I’m excited to be heading back out there on Saturday, June 6th for an afternoon of music, wine, and community and this one is going to be a really fun day to spend in wine country.
I’ll be performing starting at 2:30 PM, but the festivities at Airy Acres kick off at 1 PM and run through 5 PM with vendors, food, wine, cider, and a brand new stage that I’ll get to break in with some songs. I always love playing at wineries because people are there to slow down a little bit, enjoy the atmosphere, and connect with each other. Airy Acres has that relaxed Finger Lakes charm that makes it easy to settle in for the afternoon.
One thing I’m especially looking forward to is seeing the new stage setup at the vineyard. There’s something special about live music outdoors in the Finger Lakes during the summer, especially with a glass of local wine in hand and rolling vineyard views all around.
There’s also going to be plenty happening throughout the afternoon beyond the music. Hot Dog lovers will want to stop by JJ’s Dogs for food, and several local vendors will be set up including RoRo Soap Company, Colt Bell Pork, and artwork by Pat Fratangelo. It’s always great seeing local businesses and creators come together at events like this because it turns the afternoon into more than just a concert it becomes a community gathering.
And if you enjoy exploring different Finger Lakes drinks, you’ll have plenty of options. Other wineries and cider makers including Little Clover, Sylvan Farm & Cider, and Ball Vineyards will also be part of the event, making it a great opportunity to sample some incredible local flavors all in one spot.
I’ll be bringing a mix of original songs, storytelling, and the kind of acoustic set that pairs well with a summer afternoon in the Finger Lakes. If you’ve never been out to Airy Acres before, this would be a perfect day to check it out. And if you’ve been there before, you already know how easy it is to lose track of time sitting out among the vines.
