Flagstaff Folk Festival

If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about my new home of Phoenix its that sometimes it can get a little warm in July. But last weekend I was able to escape the heat and go two hours north, up in the cooler mountains, and perform in the Flagstaff Folk Festival with Jack Couchman.

Three or four stages were set up in different areas along side of a gradual, evergreen lined slope. Jack and I took the barn stage and proceeded to make all the ears in our general vicinity extremely happy. I joined Jack on the harmonica for a few of his tunes and he accompanied me on my songs. Take a listen to ‘steel never cold for long’ from the festival.

A big thanks to WuT from the Frequent Kings. He let me use his guitar after I had broken a string on mine. Great band by the way, you should check them out if you get a chance.
