I've decided to call my new ongoing vlogging series "Expressway Balladeer" since I'm using the travel time between shows to talk about music, my ballads, wine and anything else that might come up during my travels. So with that, this is episode 2 and I'm talking about why I love playing at wineries.
If you've followed me for any length of time you know that I'm big into Arizona wine but not just because I enjoy a good drink now and then. It's because of the passion that the people in the Arizona wine scene and in other wine scenes around the nation have for their wine. It's a passion I can relate too since I have such a passion for music and songwriting. Watching that passion and being able to be apart of the wine scene by playing at their events is special. Meeting people who care about what they do and share it with others is something I find very admirable in a world where many work 9 to 5 so they can live on weekends. These people are putting in the time, working hard and having a good time doing something they love. I respect that and love to support it by playing at their tasting rooms and telling everyone I know about their wine.
I have even written a song about the wine here in Arizona and if you haven't heard it yet at one of my live performances, don't worry, because I'm in the process of recording it right now and releasing it with a music video. So stay tuned and while you're waiting, go get some Arizona wine. You won't regret getting in on a scene this great early on because these wines are sure to do well in world competitions within the next decade if not sooner!
