I don’t get to play in Seattle very often, even though I live in the area but this weekend I get get my chance with Spinnaker Bay Brewing. Since they’re so close, I was able to take the train to the show so this episode of Expressway Balladeer should really be an episode of Railway Balladeer.

Those of you who are beer fans and amateur brewers out there are going to throughly enjoy this episode. The lead brewer of Spinnaker Bay, took me on a tour of their entire facilities and even showed of a little machine which they use to test new recipes.

I played a couple of fun sets after the tour which included one old time favorite, “Plastic Jesus”, written by Ed Rush and George Cromarty of The Goldcoast Singers.

If you’re in the area, you should visit Spinnaker Bay Brewing sometime. They have some great porters and IPAs which are definitely worth tasting.
